Her belief in holistic education has propelled the school program to be whole-child centric while at the same time selecting and training facilitators to imbibe and deliver the school’s vision.

In his 18 years of experience in residential schools, Mr. Rajput has been hands-on in guiding students who went on to become successful professionals. He has also trained international shooters who participated in the Commonwealth Games and World Championships. With his experience as a passionate Senior Under Officer in the Army wing (Infantry) of the National Cadet Corps, he brings a disciplined caring approach to students. He was a member of the CBSE schools affiliation inspection committee for many years.

An exemplary teacher of long standing, Mrs. Joshua comes to Amber Valley after her experience of 19 years at La Martiniere, Kolkata, the last few years as its Vice Principal. Her work with the Council as an Examiner and Coordinator, syllabus reviews, design and development of Primary and Middle school curriculum, and as a Training resource across India are invaluable in her role as the Academic Dean of the School.

An Internationally renowned artist, sculptor and illustrator, and a former Math’s Professor, Mr. Ilango has exhibited in India, UK, USA, France, Malaysia, and was the Founder of Ilango’s ArtSpace in Chennai. He has been a recipient of the British Council Fellowship, State Awards, Jury Awards in France, Paramacharya Award, International Artist Award and is a former President, Association of British Scholars, Chennai Chapter.

HILDA PEACOCK

A passionate teacher of long standing, and a former Principal of La Martiniere School for Girls’, Kolkata, and close association with many schools, Mrs. Peacock has worked with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, Delhi and has been a resource person conducting workshops and training programmes across the country particularly in English. She is actively involved in Child Rights, with the belief that children should grow up to be balanced, healthy and happy individuals. Using music as a tool to teach the language, she instills language skills in children through music and singing.

Mrs .Peacock is the recipient of several outstanding awards : The National Award for Teachers from H.E The President of India, The Mother Teresa Millennium Award, the Telegraph Award for Noted Academician, and the Outstanding Teacher Award from the University of Pennsylvania.

NINA KANJIRATH

Founder of Gaia Preschool and Childcare Center, and thirty years’ experience as a teacher trainer, curriculum developer, and pre- primary and elementary school educator having worked in New Zealand Kindergarten, the British and American schools in SriLanka and Indonesia and in Mallya Aditi International School, Bangalore, Schoolnet. She has written, directed and produced several plays for children, and has a background in Art and Western Classical music.

Nina has used Jolly Phonics and Jolly Music extensively to train management, teachers and young children from several international and underprivileged, non-English speaking schools, with the specific intention to develop and create self-learners who can read and write English with deep understanding.

PADMINI RAVI

She is an exponent and teacher of the ancient craft of BharataNatyam, with a new dimension and approach to dance from years of exposure in the international scene. Following her initial success in the classical arts, Padmini explored allied art forms such as theatre, folk dances, classical music, and cinema. Padmini has trained over 500 students internationally. The relationships shared along the journey exposed the various elements of dance that were not primarily a part of mainstream or traditional teaching practices.
